Concept: Cattail mats were part of the traditional homes of the meskwaki people. due to modern technology this art form was forgotten. recently these woman took it upon themselves to revitalize this lost art. the light and angle is purposeful 1- to our younger generations they can see what can be done when we work together, 2-the light shines on them from the dark we lost something now its shining bright as ever...a lost art no more.
